Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe met with Mr. Milton Xavier Castellanos Mosquera, the Under-Secretary-General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for National Society Development and Coordination, in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.
The two officials discussed the ongoing and future support from the IFRC, which is being coordinated with the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS), for rehabilitation efforts following the recent Mandalay earthquake.
Also attending the meeting were Ms. Nadia Khoury, Head of Delegation for IFRC Myanmar, and Professor Dr. Myo Nyunt, President of the MRCS, alongside other senior ministry officials.
