The Thadingyut Night Poem festival is underway for the first time at the PyinOoLwin National Kandawgyi Gardens, attracting large crowds of visitors.
The event, which runs from October 3rd to 7th, features a vibrant schedule from 8 AM to 9 PM daily. Opening day celebrations included a traditional Myanmar dance show, followed by musical performances from famous singers, local artists, and DJs.
A major highlight for attendees has been participating in the Thadingyut lighting festival tradition by floating lotus-shaped lanterns on the pagoda pond. The festival also offers a night bazaar where visitors can sample local foods and shop for regional products.
