Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi, who leads Myanmar’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, met yesterday morning with a Qatari delegation headed by Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of Qatar.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s offices in Nay Pyi Taw, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the mineral sector between the two countries. Also in attendance were Deputy Minister U Min Thu, the ministry’s permanent secretary, and other senior officials.
