Due to a system error, the online application process for the 2026 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) for undergraduate degrees has been suspended and will be switched to an offline submission method.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Myanmar announced that it is unable to restore applications that were previously submitted online. All applicants are therefore required to resubmit their documents offline.
The application period remains from October 6 to October 17. Applicants must submit their documents in person or by post, ensuring they arrive at the embassy no later than October 17.
A full set of original documents is required for resubmission. Only Myanmar nationals who passed the final stage of the process need to submit their education documents for consular confirmation. All documents written in the Myanmar language must be officially notarized in English, and a copy of the original Myanmar version must be attached to the notarized translation.
