Nearly 180 overseas employment agencies missed the deadline to submit their mandatory monthly reports for September, according to the Ministry of Labour’s Safe Migration programme.
The Ministry has stated that agencies failing to submit their reports on time will face fines. In more serious cases, their licenses to send workers abroad could be temporarily suspended.
All overseas employment agencies are required to submit a report each month—whether they dispatched any workers or not—by a specified deadline. The reports must be sent to a designated government email address.
