Large crowds gathered at Yangon’s People’s Square on October 7th for the final day of the Thadingyut Festival and MSME market. The event, organized by the Yangon Region Government, ran from October 4th to 7th.
The festival featured extended hours from 8 am to 10 pm daily, with a market showcasing a variety of products from local micro, small, and medium enterprises. Attendees could find food, marine products, and other goods made within the Yangon region.
Over the four-day event, the regional government provided more than 40,000 free Satuditha meal boxes to visitors. On the final day alone, 10,000 boxes of fried egg and rice were distributed to the festive crowds.
