Union Minister for Health Professor Dr Thet Khaing Win met with Mr. Milton Xavier Castellanos Mosquera, the Under-Secretary-General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), yesterday afternoon in Nay Pyi Taw.
Their discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between the IFRC, the Myanmar Red Cross Society, and the Ministry of Health. Key topics included ongoing IFRC support for earthquake victim rehabilitation and future collaborative efforts in primary healthcare, water, sanitation, and humanitarian assistance.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister Dr. Aye Htun, Myanmar Red Cross Society President Dr. Myo Nyunt, the IFRC Resident Representative in Myanmar, and other health ministry officials.
