Acting President and State Security and Peace Council Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended a dinner last night at Hotel Mingalathiri in Nay Pyi Taw to mark the 61st anniversary of Myanmar Police Force Day.
The Senior General and his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, were welcomed by officials upon arrival at the event. They then joined the attendees for dinner.
The dinner was accompanied by musical performances from the MPF Band, entertainment troupes, artistes from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture’s Fine Arts Department, and the Myawady Entertainment Troupe from the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare.
Following the dinner, the Acting President and his wife presented a flower basket and cash awards to the members of the band, the entertainment troupes, and the performing artistes in recognition of their contributions.
The event was also attended by Commission member Prime Minister U Nyo Saw and his wife, Commission Secretary and Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo and his wife, other commission members, Union ministers, senior military officers, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, deputy ministers, departmental heads, the Chief of the Myanmar Police Force, retired senior police officers, and other invited officials.
