A high-level Myanmar delegation led by Acting President and State Security and Peace Council Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing has returned to Myanmar after concluding working visits to the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
The delegation departed from Astana Airport yesterday morning and was seen off by Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Roman Sklyar, and Myanmar’s Ambassador to Russia, U Thit Linn Ohn.
The delegation included Commission Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, several other Union Ministers, the Mandalay Region Chief Minister, and senior military officers.
Upon their evening arrival at Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport, the group was welcomed by Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Prime Minister U Nyo Saw, other council members, Union ministers, and the Russian Ambassador to Myanmar, Mr. Iskander Azizov.
